Rules

Tour Rules

  • Your participation is at your own risk.
  • Obey all traffic laws and park regulations at all times.
  • This is a motorcycle tour; you are expected to ride a motorcycle to all submitted parks. If you can, include your motorcycle in your photos.
  • Only photos submitted in accordance with the photo submission instructions (see below) will be scored.
  • Rider must be present when the photo is taken. (The rider must personally take the photo or, if the photo is taken by someone else, the rider must appear in the photo.)
  • Submitted photos may be displayed/used for promotion of current and future events without compensation.
  • Any rider found to be in violation of the rules will be disqualified.
  • Entry fee is non-refundable.
  • By registering for the tour you indicate your acceptance of these rules.

Scoring

  • You will receive 1 point for each of your photos that are submitted in accordance with the photo submission instructions.
  • The entrant with the highest point total at the close of the tour will be the winner.
  • In the event of a tie the order of finish will be determined by the following:
    • Lowest number of days between registration and last photo submission.
    • Earliest date of registration.
    • Lottery
  • All scoring decisions are final.

Photo Submission Instructions

IMPORTANT: Failure to follow these instructions may result in rejection of your photos and loss of points.

  • Photos must be 640 x 480 pixels and in JPEG format.
  • Both the state park sign and your official tour placard must be visible in the photo and both the state park name and rider registration number MUST be readable. Legibility of photos is at the discretion of the tour administrator and all decisions are final.
  • Name your photos as follows: [RiderRegistrationNumber]_[ParkName].jpg. Do not use spaces. For example: DAJO123_BeaconRock.jpg
  • Email your photos as individual attachments or in batches of no more than 4 to: photos@washington120.com (Do not send zip files.)
  • Use your rider registration number as the subject of your email.
  • Photos received after the tour end date of September 30, 2008 will not be scored. The tour is not responsible for delays in email.
